Hi everybody. I am an EFL teacher and I would like to get in touch with people who are teaching/learning Spanish in English speaking countries. I am always looking for interesting things to read in class. I try, as far as possible, to use authentic material because I think it is much more interesting and useful for my students. If you are teaching/learning Spanish we can exchange texts from magazines, newspapers, short stories, etc. I mean, texts which are not only relevant from the linguistic point of view but also meaningful; texts we can talk about and which help my students to became more culturally aware. If you are not a native Spanish speaker, I can also help you understand difficult words and expressions and also the cultural references in the texts. I can send you the texts by email or snail mail, as you prefer. You can send me texts in English from whatever country you live in. I live in Spain, so I speak "Spanish" Spanish.

Do you think it is a good idea? If you think so, get in touch with me: <correo electrónico borrado>.

Hi María, in faith, I haven't understood so well what's a EFL teacher is and if u teach English or Spanish. Anyway, welcome here.
Hello, it's nice to have another member here in the forum, maybe the variety you refer with "Spanish Spanish" is Peninsular Spanish (the type of Spanish spoken in Spain). Have you got an E/LE diploma? Maybe you can be a certified teacher in the forum as Paola is.

Regards

Soy nuevo en el foro. EFL significa English as a Foreign Language. Creo que antes era: ESOL English of Students of Other Languages. Profesores que enseñan Inglés en las escuelas

Fue esa tu pregunta? Nube Pequeña.

Gracias por el complemento Emotion: smile
