Just to make things complete:
Capital letters are used as in English except for the following:
Days of the week.
Months of the year.
Adjectives of nationality. - e.g. una ciudad alemana (a German city).
Languages. - e.g. ¿Habla usted inglés? (Do you speak English?).

I can answer that last one.
Months are not capitalised in Spanish. Neither are the days of the week. :)
