Your Spanish listening skills will get a lot better if you listen to the Spanish radio and watch T.V. in Spanish. Also, in class when you are having a conversation with someone, try to antisipate their question. For example, if you say that you watched a movie over the weekend, someone is probably going to ask you what it was about. If you tell the class that you went to the snow over the weekend, someone is probably going to want to know what the weather was like. It's always best to be ready to give many details, just like in English. :) It might also help if you start reading books in Spanish and wright down phrases that you would like to use.

I hope this helps.

Saludos

Understanding spoken Spanish-advice?

I have been learning Spanish for a few years in school and often I find that the hardest activities for me are those where you listen to something and answer questions.
