Los estereotipos malos –todos de acuerdo en eso–. necesario pensar en personas como individuos y no como representantes de distintos grupos. Cuando alguien considera a un individuo como miembro de un determinado grupo, siempre expresa generalizaciones que en su mayor parte falsas. Estas generalizaciones, a su vez, producen estereotipos que luego causan problemas. Pero cuando intentamos eliminar algunas generalizaciones, pronto ante dilema: en realidad, ¿ posible pensar en cada uno de los seis mil millones de habitantes del mundo como individuos? Hasta cierto punto, las generalizaciones inevitables.
