Sólo por pura curiosidad, me gustaría saber cómo se originó la frase: "COLGARLE (a uno) EL MUERTO”.
Es que no me puedo imaginar cómo una situación tan inverosímil podría ser posible at all !!

En la Edad Media, cuando aparecía un cadáver pero no se podía averiguar quién había sido el asesino, los gastos del entierro los tenía que pagar la gente del pueblo donde había aparecido el cadáver. Para evitar pagar ellos, la gente del pueblo llevaba el cuerpo muerto a otro pueblo cercano y así les tocaba pagar a otros.

Visto así, "cargar el muerto a alguien", "colgar el muerto a alguien" o "echar el muerto a alguien" es bastante literal: responsabilizar injustamente a alguien por algo de lo que no tiene culpa.
