tengo una pregunta para los adjectivos

Esto es una discusión · 3 respuestas
I'm looking at adjectives and putting them next to specific words. However, I'm not sure if the way I am grouping words can allow certain words to be considered adjective. For instance, I know if I put negro next to gato-gato negro-this means "black cat."

However, I was wondering about certain other words. What I'm I'm trying to describe what kind of thing something is. For instance, what about this: Grupo Ecuador.

I believe this would mean "Ecuador group," right?
What about this: Yo hablo con la empleda hotel.

Or how about this?
- Hablo con un person ciudad.
- I am talking with a city person.

Does anyone get what I'm trying to understand in terms of grammar and using other words to describe a word?

Hi-

In this case I think you need to use "de"

Hablo con una persona de la ciudad.

Hablo con una empleada del hotel.=I talk/ I am talking with a hotel employee.

Yes. If you want to say black cat you say "gato negro" and "grupo ecuadoriano" means Ecuador group.

Most of the time you put the adjective after the noun in Spanish. La casa blanca, Es una camisa bonita. To add emphasis, talk about something specifically, or when you are writing a poem you will soemtimes find the adjective placed in front of the noun.

For example,

Es muy buena pelicula-It's a really good movie. Note: buena and mala usually come before the noun.

I hope I have helped you.

I am open to corrections. Feel free to correct me if I made a mistake.

Necesitamos preposiciones para enlazar los sustantivos.

Ecuador group puede ser grupo de Ecuador o grupo ecuatoriano.

Hotel clerck es empleado del hotel.
