Hi Nemontemi,

This forum is a good place to start. We have a section for Spanish teachers as well as for learners.

Just ask us any questions you may have.

If i was you the first thing i would buy to learnn spanish is the Michel thomas cd set, this man is a genius at teaching the Spanish language, he teaches you to learn about the language without books or pen and paper, take my advice this man is a genius.

Hi my name is Dave and I learned spanish while visiting Mexico for 9 months. I became fluent in about 3 months of immersion in the culture and language. I'm starting a new blog where I help people learn spanish who are coming from a native english speaking background. This is how I see it, if you're a native english speaker it's much easier learning spanish from a person who speaks english natively as well. I think how you think in terms of sentence structure and comparision and I can explain spanish language concepts in such a way so as to be very easily understood. Whereas a native spanish speaker who speaks english as a second language, although may be very intelligent and educated, may have a slight language barrier. That was my experience anyway taking spanish in university after i came back from Mexico.

Sorry for the life story. Anyway, You can come to my blog and start checking it out. Keep in mind I've just started it so there's a lot more to come. But I can definitely help you if you have any questions at all. My email is [E-mail removed. Please put your e-mail on your profile. Thanks] and my blog URL is in my signiture.

 Ciao y buena suerte

Hi Dave, I have had a look at your nice blog.

However, I listened to the "dirty fork" story and there are some important translation mistakes.

I don't know if you can edit them.

saludos

Hey, Dave here, Ok I see what you meant I think. I saw the video on youtube but I can't edit it, being of someone else's channel. There were a few mistakes I caught but it's pretty good for a freshman I think. I also watched a few of his "recuerdos de Guatemala" videos and it was the same thing. Very  good and creative but a few mistakes  here and there.

Saludos
