I need to know what "Dime de tu familia" and "Dime de tus amigos o amigas" translate to in English.” If you want to use "dime" you will need something more "Dime X de tu familia" while by using "Háblame" you're asking in general. Telling the person to tell you anything about his family. You could also use "Cuéntame algo sobre tu familia" Does this help you? Pucca
