Hi,

I am a waiter, i would like to learn a few basic phrases for my work.

I would like to know how to say "Please wait a moment" to my customers.

I came across these two phrases:

1. Espere, por favor
2. Ser Camarero

I search the internet, it seems that the phrase "Espere, por favor" is correct, while phrase 2 is not.

Can someone with better Spanish skills confirm this?

Thank you very much.

Yes," espere, por favor" is correct. Also:" un momentito, por favor".
""Ser camarero means: to be (a) waiter (in Spain).
Waiter in Mexico: mesero.
Saludos
