Hola!
This is my very first post. I am very excited to find this site. I thought the best way to learn to speak spanish was to find someone to practice with. Now I found a whole community!

I have muy muy limited Espanol speaking skills. Por favor. If I do something wrong, please correct me. I will not be offended. At first I will probably mix my Espanol and English as I try hablar more and more en Espanol.

Muchas Gracious to all who help. If I can give back and help someone with their English or learn more about something I have experience with quiero to do that.

Tell me something about yourself. Here is a little about me.
Mi llamo es Arturo Trigo. Arturo is so formal. Is there an easy way to say, "Art"?

I live in Rochester, NY. It is upstate from Nuevo York City. We are about 500 miles away.

I have (habo?) three sons, two are teenagers and muy smart and bonita wife.

Can anyone help me say any of this en espanol and tell me a little about them selves?
Gracious,
Arturo

Hola Arturo y bienvenido aquí Smile

I do know the place in which you live; it's a nice town on the Ontario Lake...am I wrong? My friend has lived there for 2 years.
I am as curious as Sanz to know if your ancestors come from a Latin country, your name sounds so Italian to me :D

Anyway, have fun !

This is such a cool place!. What an incredible opportunity. I took two years of Spanish 1 <grin> as a kid in high school and always wanted to get serious about the language. I always thought the key was having someone to practice with. I have no one. So I looked online and found all of you here so willing to help. This is awesome!

I have an extreamly limited vocabulary. I have been flipping back and forth between a translator at Google to find words but I am sure it makes for some very broken spanish. Hopefully with practice (and some correction by those who know -- mi mestroes y myestras aqui) I will get better. I really appreciate your offer to help! I hope I can return the gift of learning to you as well! So...

Eres estudiante o to ir trabajo?
Muchos gracias Casey,
Arturo
