Notice that they are written like that when these words are in a question or in a sentence with exclamation marks because the intonation changes, otherwise they are usually spelled quien, que, donde, cuando, y como.

Any advice or tip please, and thank you for all your help.

Ones structure is que/quien/cuando/donde + verb:

¿Qué hiciste hoy?
¿Quién envió el e-mail?
¿Cuándo vamos a ir de vacaciones?
¿Dónde compraste ese traje?

We also use hay:

¿Qué hay para comer?
¿Cuándo hay luna llena?
¿Dónde hay un hotel?
¿Quién hay detrás de los ataques terroristas?

With como, when you ask for how something is done, we use the reflexive form of the verb:

¿Cómo se cocina ese pescado?
¿Cómo se pronuncia esa palabra?
¿Cómo se aplica esta crema?
¿Cómo se resuelve este problema?
