I am trying to ask my g/f friend a couple of questions but I dont think that the online translators are helping.

I wanted to ask simple questions like:
do you know her from cusco?
I came up with
usted le conoce de cusco. If is your girlfriend, in Spain you can say ¿La conoces de Cuzco? In America you can use ¿La conoce de Cusco?, it's more polite

and something like:
Vanessa is a good friend of mine but I dont know any of her friends from cusco, so what can you tell me about her? what is she like at home? how would you describe her?

Vanesa en una gran amiga mía, pero no se nada de sus amigos de Cuzco; ¿qué puedes/puede(pol.) decirme sobre ella? ¿Cómo es en casa? ¿Cómo la describirías/describiría(pol.)?

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out with this. Thank you
