No creo que haya habido un tratado de no ayudar a paices amigos y en ese tiempo Argentina no era un país amigo(mas bien era una amenaza) y sí lo era Inglaterra (historicamente ha sido así, vease Lord Cochrane), además Argentina nunca cedió las islas Picton, Nueva y Lenox ya que nunca fueron suyas, incluso un buen amigo mio estuvo enterrado durante meses en una trinchera de la isla Lenox en 1978 y jamás un Argentino puso un pie en ellas, entonces dificilmente nos podrían haber "cedido" una de esas islas.Leonardo N.
