I am new to the forum, and I'm somewhat new to the spanish language! I know a bit of it, because I have hispanic blood, but it just wasn't taught to me by my family. I am very eager to learn it now, since I'm 15, and still in school, but I don't want any classes. I want to start from blank paper, but I need help! I'll often understand a lot of things that persons say, but it's hard to reply, and I will need help in everything, vocabulary, grammar, structure and format and the hardest part..memorizing, etc. etc. Can anyone help me? Like, were do I begin!

If you understand but have trouble responding then maybe you should focus on the speech side. Get an MP3 player or something and just practise the words. I am sure you will already have an excellant accent so you should pick it up really well.

Apart from what Gee has said, I would like to add something else. If you already know a bit of it, you can start reading little stories. You know, the simplest ones, the ones who have been translated into many languages..

¡ bienvenido al foro Victore !

Although I always should start with guarded lessons, you sure need
a simple basic to build on. This absolutely is the first necessary step.

After that: Just start and... you always will be "beginning", but that`s quite normal:
the more you learn, the more you see what you still are missing.. that`s life.

What ever you do: never give up: piece by piece you build the greatest expiration.
