El más común en España es Diego. 5,8 de cada 1000 se llaman Diego.

I'm pretty sure that not every name has a Spanish "translation," including my own (Arielle). Pretty name, though!

Arielle  se parece a Ariel. No estoy seguro que sean lo mismo.

I thought Diego is a translation of Douglas, or Doug.  For David, I alawys thought the Spanish translation was Javier.  It always seemed to make sense to me.  If not, what other English translation would there be for the common name Javier?

Siempre pensaba que el nombre Diego es lo mismo que Douglas, o Doug.  El nombre David, siempre pensaba que es Javier en espanol.  Tiene razon, no?  Si no, como se dice el nombre Javier en ingles?  Hay otro nombre que tiene razon, o solo es David?
