Hi everyone~! I have to do a skit in Spanish class. It is about the Day of the Dead. Err...don't know much about it. ^^;;; Anyway, here is part of my scripit. I tried my best to translate it. I wrote what I was trying to say in (...) Please correct anything that is wrong~! ^_^
Casper: Qué aburrido…
Rawr: Qué es? (What’s wrong?)
Casper: Nadie viene aquí...Nosotros nada hacer amigos nuevos...(No one ever comes around here…we never get to make any new friends~!)
Rawr: (Pero, hoy esta diferente. Hoy es "deay of the dead" (But today will be different. Today is ‘the day of the dead.’)
Casper: Tan..gente viene aquí? (So some people will come here?)
Rawr: Sí. Probablemente estudiantes de escuela. Ellos creen que si ellos ponen unas floras al altar, nosotros vamos despertarse (Yes. Probably students from the school. Some believe that if they put some flowers on the alter, we will come alive~)
Casper: Qué ridículo. (How ridiculous.)
Rawr: Yo sé... De todos modos, primero, nosotros..y despues, tenemos un partido~! (I know. Anyway, let’s scare them first. Then after that we will all have a party~!
Casper: Emperiza preparamos! Let’s start preparing~!
*ellos decoran*
Casper: Terminado! Finished~!
Rawr: ..rapido..>_<; (Someone’s coming~! Quick~! Pretend we’re dead~!)
Casper: Somos morimos (We ARE dead.)
*ellos mueren*
Alegría: Okie, we’re here. What time is it?
Julia: 5 minutes to midnight
Julia: Yo me pregunto por que ellos solo despertarse I wonder why they only come alive tonight…
Alegría: I don’t know….what is today?
Julia: November 1st.
Alegría: Today’s the day of the dead.
Julia: What is that?
Alegría: Whaaat? How can you not know? Are you stupid? The day of the dead is….(note: I don't know what it is either...O_o;; )
