I am very glad I found this forum.  I am just begining to learn Spanish, though I had a few years of study in High School about 20 years ago!  I do not remember much , so I am essentially starting over.  I am certainly looking forward to the challenge.  The only thing I remember is pronunciation, everything else has vanished from my brain.

I recently purchased a software package called LEARN TO SPEAK SPANISH DELUXE ver 9.5 (http://www.cosmi.com//OnlineStore/ProductCatalog/ProductDetail.aspx?Matnr=562000WEB).  I liked this one because it had lessons that I could put on my IPOD or listen to in the car.  It seems interesting, as it has some verbal exercises, simulated conversations and other activities.  Has anyone used this package?  I plan on supplementing this with some books, so any recomendations are helpful.

If I am posting here do you feel it is helpful to write in Spanish, even if I have to use a dicionary to look up most of the words and guess at the grammar I dont know. - just a thought thanks for the assistance.
